Dominique Appia

in 8th grade i was sitting in my drama class listening to my crazy teacher

go on about something to do with "ying and yang."

i don't entirely remember how i saw it, but i do remember that when i did

i was absolutely amazed.

keep in mind that at the time i'm 13 years old, the only thing that usually

catches my attention is boys and shopping..

but i LOVED this painting.

after class my teacher told me the painter is Dominique Appia, and

the name of the painting is "Entre Les Trous De La Memoire"

so of course, i went home and told my mom all about what i found.

i googled it, found it on allposters.com, and she ordered the poster for me :)

seriously, you're wondering why i'm telling you about this aren't you?

well, i hadnt thought about this painting in SUCH a long time.

i couldn't even remember the name of the painter.

and i forgot my poster at my moms house in oregon.

but last night i was just laying in bed and out of NO WHERE,

DOMINIQUE APPIA pops into my head.

i made a little note on my phone so that i would remember to look him up

in the morning.

turns out, there are many AMAZING paintings that he does.

all of which have to do with dreams and the imagination.
