Christmas Eve

this year, i almost liked our Christmas Eve day events better than Christmas Day.

both were fantastic.

but on the 24th we woke up and made a delightful frittata breakfast,

while watching Home Alone 2.

and then we were asked to watch that cute little puppy until presents that evening.

(it was a gift from hubby's parents to his little sisters.)

her name is Lily, and she is sooooooooooo adorable.

even if she pees and poops on my carpet.

then hubface and i took the little sisters ice skating..

guess what?

ice skating = super freakin fun

turns out i'm slightly terrible at first

but by the end, i was winning races :)

when it got darker, to kill time Jordan and i drove around looking at all the

wonderful christmas lights.

although you can't tell, these lights were synced to a Christmas radio station.

wonderful?

yep, it sure was..

then we were finally able to open up our Christmas jammie presents.

we bought them ourselves so it was a bit of a "grown up" moment.

but the best part was being able to pick out our favorite ones :)

oh and that plate?

we got from ma & pa bracken for our future kiddies.

but we still put out cookies for Santa this year.

(he didnt eat any. turns out, he doesn't like chocolate cookies. i'll have to remember that.)
