i know what you're thinking.
heaven?
cupcakes?
she's gone mad.
the fact is, i probably have.
but yesterday at work i had this epiphany.
i am obsessed with andes mints. {who isn't??}
and i loooove cupcakes..
so i asked myself, "self, what if you could melt the andes mints and dip the cupcake
top right into it, creating this wonderful sensation for your tastebuds?"
and you know what? thats EXACTLY what i did.
devil's food.
seriously, is there any other kind?
5oz. unwrap. chop up.
put in glass bowl with 2tbs veg oil.
place bowl on top of sauce pan with an inch of water simmering on medium.
melts into heavenly goodness.
the remove from heat.
carefully dip each {cooled} cupcake into bowl.
hold upside down for a few seconds to get the dripping to stop.
{this may take a few to perfect.}
and voila!
i dipped them all twice because the one time just wasnt enough for me.
but seriously, eat this.. and it is heaven in your mouth.
i died.
hubface was slightly worried.
but he knew i just went into a chocolate coma.
so all was well.

ps. after awhile, the andes mint top dries and is less messy.
but equally delicious.
