saturday evening we wandered over to Emerald Smoothies to get some.. dinner?
okay, we'll call it dinner.
now, i had tried this place once yeaaars ago and i remembered not liking it,
but i wasnt sure why.
so we went {mainly because my favorite, IntaJuice had closed. my heart broke
a little when i found out.}
and i will tell you that we became friends with the owner guy and he understood
what we needed for our cleanse.
which was kind of wonderful because its hard to explain sometimes.
i was so excited for my smoothie.
pineapple passion? yes please!
k, now i'm not complaining, but IF i were,
i would tell you that i remembered why didnt like the place.
when i drink it, all i can taste is that protein powder shtuff they put in for a meal supplement.
nothing at all like my beloved pineapple passion.
i knew this cleanse thing wouldnt be easy,
but again, if i were complaining...
i'd tell you all i want right now is one of grandmas homemade rolls with homemade jam.
and maybe some pasta.
it also didnt help that this place was smooshed between two of my favorite places to eat.
my mouth drooled when i could smell the deliciousness of mexican food one way,
and pasta the other.
happy monday? not sure yet, we are greeting this week with raaaain.
