the dreaded monday.

hi friends!
yes i am back.
and yes, i have pictures.
but first, how about a few traveling stories?
i promise you, i have never had a more eventful trip than this one.

how about the first awkward thing i say to the first person that sits next to me on my first flight.
on a tiny connector plane. right as he sits down.
"its a good thing i'm small or we'd probably be hugging right now."
good one ashlee.

and on the next flight: how about the 50 something year old passenger guy wearing a
Twilight t-shirt and a hat that says "I Love Jerusalem." good stuff.

how about the guy sitting next to the guy with the t-shirt and hat... gets kicked off the plane.
for throwing a bag at the flight attendant?!
he lost his marbles. i'm pretty sure of it.
good thing we hadn't taken off yet otherwise who knows what else might have happened.

and WHY is it that people cant seem to hold in their bodily functions when in a small consumed place.
i'm not kidding.
on. every. single. flight.
go to the bathroom people. its a safe zone in there.

and lets not talk about the public breastfeeding i saw.
or that time i was sitting, waiting to board, and a lady walked past me and hit me in the head with
her purse.
nope, she didnt notice. how convenient.

oh wait, how about when i slept, my mouth would fall open.
i dont know how you feel but i'm pretty sure sleeping on a plane with your mouth open is one of
the worst things you could do. *see two paragraphs up

i really do love traveling you guys.
like, a lot.
but this time pretty much kicked my butt.
actually lets just say this whole weekend tested my patience.
but it was fantastic being in oregon.

hope everyone else had a wonderful weekend!
now i'm going to work. ugh.

  2. Oh man, I'm flying next week, I sure hope that my trip doesn't have those same events as yours did. Oh man, waking up to eating fart sounds like the worst thing ever.

  5. ha! i don't have a problem with public breastfeeding. it was just awkward because she was sitting right next to me and she was talking about how the baby wouldn't latch on.
i was waiting for my last connector flight to get home and i was just about done with traveling after such a hectic weekend.
no knocking on the breastfeeding. i'm sure i'll be there one day :)

  6. Haha! No, I agree, that situation would be weird, especially for a woman who has not yet jumped into the motherhood game.
    But, yeah...just thought I'd check. ;)
