have you seen them?

one thing we surely will miss about our old home is our little nest on the porch.

you see, a while ago we noticed a mama hummingbird hanging out outside,

and she came back quite a bit.

then, after noticing the little furballs inside getting bigger and bigger,

by golly, its babies!

every morning we would check on them.

the mama would come and hang out and feed them (amazing.)

and we have been waiting patiently for one to just fly on into our house

and sing a cinderella song for us.

jordan calls them "his girls."

and i'm sure when they fly away there might be a tear or two.

little birdies need names.

i should get on that.

i'm a terrible step mama.
