fun facts friday: anniversary edition

for my facts today i thought i'd share with you some of our bridal pictures

along with some facts about our magical day.

- my wedding dress was my moms wedding dress when she married my dad.

after a little remodeling it turned out absolutely perfect thanks to jordans grandma jane.

i tried wedding dresses on at the stores and none of them felt like... me.

{jordans suit was vintage that we found online}

{oh, and my jewelry was from an antique store i found in town. it was love.}

- i cried my eyes out during our ceremony and my foot was shaking the whole time

while i kneeled across from jordan looking at his calm, happy, handsome face.

- i made a separate dress for our ceremony. it was so simple and so pretty.

i was extremely proud that i made it.

- since we had our luncheon the day before,

we had plenty of time to get the reception location all set up.

everyone expected us to skip off to our hotel to "nap" before the celebration.

that was a no go. i was going to see every part of our day unfold and i wanted to take it all in.

- i barely remember our reception. i dont recall eating. or sitting. or... anything really.

it was such a long eventful happy day and at the end of it all, i was happy it was over.

and i was happy to finally be able to spend evenings with my new husband.
