our one year anniversary is coming up.
next week you will be showered with gushy stories, pictures, the works..
but for now, all i can think about is what in the world are we going to do?!
we had a plan but the plan didnt go so smoothly.
we thought of another plan but that one just sounds ridiculous.
so here we are, a couple of newlyweds almost to their year mark with no way to celebrate.
i thought, maybe we'll just stay home and cook a nice dinner.
snuggle.
snuggle some more.
but then i remember, um hi we do that almost every night.
of course, i come to you.
what do you do to celebrate?

oh and i had long hair. lets not talk about it.
My husband and I always go to the hotel that we went on our wedding night...maybe you could do that? I read on Nicole's blog about your love story, so if you still live in Utah you could just go have dinner in Park City, that's always fancy. And OH I just said the US section, and I thought I was the only one who was in love with Gene Kelly! This is amazing!
ReplyDeletewe were thinking of going to the same hotel! maybe we will just do that. we live in southern utah so park city is a little too far for us. we were going to go to zions but we didnt reserve our hotel fast enough before the prices went waaaay up.

easy peasy idea, and what we always end up doing: go out to a nice dinner. heck, make it even more fancy by dressing up in your very best, most lovely loveliness. easy and still celebratory. :)

ReplyDeleteSean & i have spent our anniv's a few different ways, but my fave was going back to the original 1st night together at the Ace hotel in Seattle. if you go for the hotel idea or staying at home and nooking it's all good b/c you'll make it special either way. xo ♥
