you know how "normal" engagements are normally at least a year or so?
well, ours was six months and i thought THAT was long.
don't know how i managed.
but i was set on a spring time outdoor wedding and i thought,
"it cant be that bad. october isn't very far from... march."
negative.
i was bouncy and impatient the entire time.
there may have been some complaining.
i just wanted to spend evenings with my love instead of driving
home all alone freezing my bum off.
{yes, it was winter-ish}
i changed my mind multiple times on the wedding details.
and then i changed them again.
and again.
i blame it on the six months.
i had nothing to do but day dream about a wedding. MY wedding.
it was finally march.
things were finally coming together.
and i was FINALLY... almost mrs jordan bracken.
♥
of your life..lol.. you are so young girly!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean! In Utah time that's totally a crazy long engagement! Mine was around 5 months and it was killer. It's hard to want to go home and be apart at the end of the night when you're engaged.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that 3rd picture down!
ReplyDeleteI was engaged to my hubby for a year and it was torture. Being long distance really didn't help!
